Magic Knight Rayearth Anime: Region 1 DVD (North America)
The anime was originally released in the USA in two Memorial Collection Box Sets and then later as individual volumes. Season one is 20 Episodes, 500 minutes and season two is 29 Episodes, 725 minutes. The series was re-released in two Economy Box Sets in 2005 which are still available. These are two slim plastic cases containing all discs from each season in one container. The economy sets contain all the same features as the original Memorial Box Sets, plus a bonus disc with two interviews (in Japanese with subtitles) with the Japanese director and audio director, running about an hour. A "World of Magic Knight Rayearth" collection was released in December 2006 which is simply the two economy boxes in together in a thin paper box, and is the cheapest release yet. The series is being remastered and will be released in two box sets in 2010.
